Classes for Adults

We have several adult classes available, ranging from traditional auditorium lecture style to conversational small groups.


Current Adult Bible Classes

Here are our current Sunday morning adult Bible Classes for 2019, 4Q:

Prayer team We want to be a people who pray. Mercy Mbani guides this group – praying boldly for God’s Spirit to move in our congregation and specific neighborhood ways that God sees fit and deems good.

Ruth A close examination of the small and important book of Ruth and what it speaks to us today. Led by Michael Tucker and Brent Spivy. The class is conversational in nature.

1 and 2 Kings An unhurried study through the Israel’s history as told in Kings. Led by Dee Pipes. The class is conversational in nature.

1 and 2 Corinthians A textual study through the letters to the Corinthians. This is a lecture-based class led by Dorian Darroh, Dick Darroh, and Larry Watson.

An Altar in the World: A Geography of Faith – Conversational in form, this class is led by Caleb McDaniel and Steve Sargent. Currently they are reading through and discussing Barbara Brown Taylor’s An Altar in the World.
